Legar’s story and heritage is built with hope, a pursuit of excellence and humility. It all started in the 1950s, when a young and ambitious Lee Leun Kyi began trading natural jadeite in Hong Kong, a gem widely regarded as the Stone of Heaven.  He provided local jewellery shops with high quality jadeite. His hard work ethic, integrity and humility continues to inspire everyone at Legar till today. Over the following decades, the business expanded, gaining deep exposure to cross-border trade and complex operations. Soon, Legar expanded into diamonds, gems and a full suite of jewellery pieces, including wedding jewellery, diamond jewellery, jadeite jewellery and more. In 1990, Legar established its presence in Singapore, to reach Southeast Asia. The 2020s marked the beginning of a new chapter, with technology and innovation taking center stage as Legar evolved to enable greater customer success.
